Away Weekend 2019

Friday

There's usually a bike ride or similar on the Friday afternoon for those especially keen types (WC) but no details yet.

20:30

Evening meal. Booking for 26 confirmed with the India Rasoi, 8:30pm.  List of attendees on pdf. Otherwise make own arrangement. Bar afterwards, Mad Hatter, or, The Marlborough Arms.

 

Saturday

09:00

Parkrun at the rather swanky Royal Agricultural University, Stroud Road, Cirencester, GL7 6JS.

10:15-11:45

A Beautiful Mind, the game. Meeting place GO 1. Bring writing implements and cameras. Prize for best FRB and SCB. Note the later start time to allow attendance at the Park Run (starts 9am).

14:00-17:00

Alan's Chain Gang or do your own thing. Meet at tbc. Remember to bring a bike or you will be knackered.

19:30 till late

Function room at the Bees Knees, GL7 1LF, for: “Wing it” with the Eager Beavers ft Cockers.

Scrabbled Eggs (from a Beautiful Mind).

Meal. Bring your own food. Landlord is happy with this. Best you buy booze at the pub as the function room is gratis.

 

Sunday

10:00-11:30

Hash with the Keats. Meeting at GO 2. Hangovers optional. Running essential.

Note that check out time at the Barrel Store is 10am.

Long term car parking: Beeches Road. £6 for 3 days. On street parking is available a shortish walk away; last year we parked in Chester Street (stick it in your satnav).
